Always adrift

scarf old, dress zara, orangy tights veritas, black heeled boots stradivarius
I bought the shoes in the lovely shop Stradivarius, in Italy during the summer. As you may know, I always wear comfortable, flat shoes and I don't want to change the comfortableness in my outfits. But, heeled boots are pretty nice too. Can I try to make them as comfortable as my sneakers? However, they are pretty nice to look at.

The fog in the garden

This week there were a lot of foggy days. Don't you think fog has something mysterious and beautiful? I can't help it, but when I see a foggy landscape, the first thing I want to do is go outside and run through the fog. I think I am intrigued by fog. One of those really strange things about me.

Another this-week-ish post

I'm wearing a white shirt and shoes from Primark, shorts from Forever 21, a cardigan from H&M and over the knee socks.
* new in
Friday evening I went to the SecondHand SecondLife show in Brussels. It is an annual Les Petits Riens charity fashion show. Les Petits Riens (in Dutch it's called Spullenhulp) is a Belgian charity that collects and accepts second hand furniture and clothes, to sell them for the benefit of social projects. They fight against poverty in Belgium. For the event, Belgian designers and stylists made new outfits from clothing, collected by Les Petits Riens. I wasn't only curious to see their creations, but also to see my friend Marie on the catwalk! Her sister convinced me to come and I definitely have no regrets. And above all, it's a great concept.

If you're curious about the atmosphere, then check out this little video I filmed.

And.. the end

Last week

Time is passing by so quickly. Last week I had autumn break and I only find the time to post about it now. It was a lovely, but mainly necessary break to get back some missing sleep. It's time to get back on track now, my test week is looming and I really should start preparing it. Something more fun than talking about school: let me show you some pictures that I took during my break.
Waking up on beautiful mornings: I love the autumn colors and foggy atmosphere.
One day I went to the Primark store in Lige with Natai. I only came home with 3 new items (not that much for a primark visit, I know), it definitely was a lovely day!
shoes: primark, sweater: secondhand
both blouses: primark
I went to Ikea to buy a new (simple) bed!

We celebrated my mom's birthday with food and lots of flowers!
I photo adventured with Laura, first we went to some cool abandoned buildings, then we went to a hangar-ish space. Suddenly there came a man that worked there to us and he said: you should go to the basement, it's even more spectacular there! We asked: "but are we allowed to go there?" And then he answered: "actually you're not allowed to come here either." Hm right. Busted! I always love those adventures, sometimes they are a little creepy, but always a lot of fun!
"crouler les ruines" (the ruins collapse)
And a last picture.. maybe kind of strange (but I really like strange pictures..) I only edited the contrast though!

Fragile and brutal

The pictures are taken by laura, edited by me.
I am wearing a shirt from H&M, a red jumper from T2 and converse
Usually, I don't wear a lot of color. I just don't get excited to brighten myself up with colorful clothes. Something changed when I bought this jumper a couple of months ago though. It was in Antwerp, in one of my favorite second hand shops, Think Twice. I suddenly thought: colors are pretty fun! And now this red jumper cheers me up on a grey day. Thanks to Laura for taking the pictures and feel free to hype here on lookbook!
