New York photo diary II

One day we rented bikes and we did a tour through Central Park. On the bike we could see a lot of the beautiful park in a short amount of time. Recommended!
Afterwards we ate sushi for lunch. Good, because I was starved after that bike ride!
The next day we went to Williamsburg in Northern Brooklyn. I had heard a lot of good things about this neighborhood so I was excited to go there. Lots of artists, musicians, writers, creative people live here!
We went on a Saturday so we could go to several markets, like the indoor 'Artists & Fleas' Market where emerging artists, designers, vintage collectors and DIYers sell their wares. I saw so many pretty things! Besides that we went to some art galleries, second hand shops, boutiques...

Then we headed back to Manhattan via the Brooklyn Bridge. But before walking across the bridge, we went to the gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge park. In this park you have an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline! It is a perfect place: sitting on the lawn, looking at the beautiful view, just like you're in a movie or something.

Walking across this bridge is just amazing!

And the Statue of Liberty is also visible in the distance!

all pictures are taken + edited by me, besides the 2 pictures of me, they are taken by my dad.
Next photo diary is coming up in a few days!
